Chair Pockets/Seat Sacks for the Classroom

 It has been 2 years since I have raised prices, but it is now unavoidable.
 
Last Spring, my supplier began purchasing material from China.  I thought it to be inferior, and found  a supplier who still sold material made in the USA.  It was more expensive, but better quality. However, I also now have to pay shipping as he is not local.  I absorbed the cost all of last year, but need to adjust prices now.
 
New prices will go into effect March 1, 2010.  I realize I may lose some business, but would rather lose business because of price than because of quality.
 
 
I am also going to lower shipping charges.  Paypal  will still be available for those who like the speed and convenience, but there will be a 3%fee for those using it.  Personal checks and purchase orders are also still options to pay.

These chair pockets are made from a 65% cotton /35% polyester material.  No need to worry about wiping them down to clean them!  They are sturdy, machine washable, safe in the  dryer and need no ironing.  The sides are also double stitched  and reinforced at the stress points! There are 2 standard widths, a 14" and a 16" with one 9" deep pocket. The length is approx. 13 1/2".  $5.50 each.  I have also made these in an 18" and 20" width.  They are $6.00 each.  This chair pocket style is much less likely to tip the chair over from weight because of the design.  The whole bag slips over the chair, not just a 6" pocket. For this reason, if you are placing bulky items in them, you need to make sure the width is at least 1" wider than the chair back so there is "give" in the pocket. 

 I do make another design (I call it a "swing back style" because the back swings free).  This best fits the one piece molded plastic chairs that are narrower at the top than the bottom.  If that is the style you need, e-mail me.  Sizes 14" or less are $5.50.  15" and larger are  $5.75.  The same colors are available, however they can only be a solid color, not a two tone.

 On a rare occasion, I will make a 16" 3 pocket design.  They have the regular size pocket, plus 2 more pockets, one 5" wide and one 11" wide.  These are $6.75each.   There is a picture of these on the picture page.

 

COLORS  Navy or red is the most popular, but I  have or can get, royal blue, black, yellow, hunter green, orange & purple. (Please note that  turquoise may be shown in the pictures but has been discontinued by the manufacturer.) You do not have to order all the same color.  Try ordering your school colors or  ordering the chair cover in one color and just the pocket in another!  If you like the brighter colors but are worried about them getting dirty, try a black  or navy cover with the pocket in bright colors!

 

Shipping is $10.75 for 10-30. (Shipping for smaller or larger amounts depends on weight and zip code) 


Minimum order is 6. However, if you are a previous customer and need to replace a few, or have a larger class, you may order less.
